Representatives of the European countries, stakeholder groups and partners will meet in Rome Italy, 21-23 November 2018, in the EUR area at the Confindustria Conference Center, for the European Forum on Disaster Risk Reduction (EFDRR.
The event is organized by the Italian Civil Protection Department in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Risk Reduction (UNISDR) and the European Commission. The Forum promotes an opportunity for discussion on the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (ISDR), the development of coordinated programs at regional and local level for risk prevention and strengthening the concept of resilience as a real development goal, at the international level.
There will be an opportunity to exchange and move forward on local level resilience, economic risks and reaching the Sendai Framework 2020 priority targets
SAVEMEDCOASTS brochures will be disseminated to the participants to inform stakeholders on the coastal hazard in the Mediterranean region.
