ISOTECH with CGIAM and INGV implemented the second Small Group Meeting in Rome.
Several categories of stakeholders from different regions of Italy participated to the second Small Group Meeting of the SAVEMEDCOASTS project. Among orthers, the Comando Generale del Corpo delle Capitanerie di Porto, the Municipality of Venice, the Consiglio Superiore dei lavori Pubblici and the Soprintendenza del Mare della Regione Sicilia, who provided useful issues of discussion. The meeting gained very interesting insights that highlighted the perceptions of sea level rise of the communities and stakeholders living and operating along the shores of Italy and the possible actions to reduce its effects caused by climate change and tectonic movements.
